We created St. Luke Teams to better organize the variety of ways you can participate in the ministry of St. Luke through volunteering. Whether you enjoy working with kids, making music, ushering, or helping behind the scenes, we have a place where you can help.

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild prepares the altar for weekly worship. This includes changing banners and paraments and preparing communion and baptism supplies.

Church Online Team

The Church Online Team works diligently every Sunday to make sure that guests who attend online feel welcome and cared for. This team moderates the chat during our live-streamed services, provides helpful links to viewers, and prays for needs.

Communications Team

The Communications Team brings together those gifted creatively in social media, photography, design, and video to spread the word of Jesus. On Sundays, this team works together to post content; capture video and photos, and plans for churchwide communication.

Facilities Team

Our Facilities Team is committed to serving throughout the week and on weekends to set up rooms for worship and events.

Guest Experience Team

Our Guest Experience Team creates environments where guests feel welcome, safe, and at home serving them from the street to the seat and back. This team includes our parking team, greeters, ushers, coffee, communion servers, hosts, safety and medical, and more!

Life Groups Team

Life Groups are the lifeblood of St. Luke and help support the spiritual growth and care of each person by creating impactful relationships. Opportunities to serve within groups include become group leaders, administrative opportunities within groups, and more.

Music Team

Music is one of the most meaningful ways we worship the Lord each week. We encourage those with any musical talent to participate as part of the Chancel Choir, handbell choir, special music, or worship band. The Chancel Choir and handbell choir provide music for traditional worship.

Production Team

The Production Team works diligently every Sunday to allow all of our guests to have an excellent experience where they are inspired and encounter God. Positions to serve on this team include but are not limited to slides, audio, video, and live-stream production.

The Property Team helps keep our building and property functioning and looking great! There are opportunities to serve throughout the week through regular maintenance, special workdays, and construction projects.

Our St. Luke Kids Team is committed to teaching our next generation of leaders about Jesus and equipping our kids with the tools they need to change the world. This team has opportunities to serve our infants, toddlers, elementary kids, special programs like vacation bible school, behind-the-scenes administration, and more!

Our St. Luke Students Team is committed to teaching our next generation of leaders about Jesus and equipping our students with the tools they need to change the world. This team has opportunities to serve our middle school students, high school students, special programs like camps, trips, behind-the-scenes administration, and more!

Serve Team

The Serve Team coordinates churchwide outreach projects to serve our community and share the love of Jesus. This team organizes volunteer opportunities with the LSS Food Pantry and Faith Mission, as well as donation drives and the Summer Lunch Program.
